Do The Green Thing invited me to contribute to an event at Pentagram in London to mark the first five years of 'creativity versus climate change'. They asked a selection of designers from around the world to contribute a poster – among them were Pentagram partners Daniel Weil, Michael Bierut, Eddie Opara, Angus Hyland, Marina Willer, Harry Pearce, Domenic Lippa and Emily Oberman – so I was in very good company!

A range of large-format and print graphics created as part of the WWF Earth Hour campaign.

Series of three infographics based on data taken from a new report assessing the economic impacts of two potential future scenarios for UK electricity generation. The graphics were supplied to the media for use in coverage of the report and also used across WWF blogs and webpages.

Concept, design and printing of The Fed annual report 2012. The design had to incorporate the new branding style whilst adhering to typography guidelines for the visually impaired.

Design and illustration of a direct mailer for Charities Trust aiming to explain the benefits of carbon offsetting to a wider audience.

Various promotional design work for Southern Lurcher Rescue, including exhibition banners, happy endings flyers that show the dedicated work of the charity through individual dogs stories and flyers for dogs currently in foster homes showing their backgrounds and particular needs. The flyers can be printed in short digital runs and handed out at events or given to foster families to distribute.

I have recently been appointed as the graphic designer for Mayhew International and The Mayhew Animal Home. Working within their existing brand style I will be designing all publicity material and supplying advertising to press.

The design uses the two dots of the i’s in the word futurising to represent students and industry. The additional dots represent possible future connections and are positioned on an invisible grid structure which allows a different selection of the six dots to be chosen each time the logo is used, four of these are then connected to the two main dots. 

The identity system visualises the concept of multiple, constantly evolving connections and creates an identity that is flexible but keeps a constant aesthetic.

Visualisation of the St Bride Library collection showing the library’s classification hierarchy and volume of information per subject. Each spot represents a class, the size of the spot represents the volume of information within the class, the position of the spot shows it’s place within the classification hierarchy and the colours show the type of information (historical, artistic etc). 

The print is an example of a visualisation method that could be applied to any library with a similar system – which would enable comparison between libraries and reveal those with more/less information on particular subjects.
